About This Event
Are you called to preach but aren't sure where to start? Do you have a message burning inside you but struggle to organize your thoughts, study the text deeply, or stand in front of people with confidence? The Called to Preach Cohort was built for you.
This 8-week in-person experience, led by Marcus J. Shambry Sr., is designed for emerging preachers and teachers who are serious about learning to communicate God's Word with clarity, confidence, and conviction. Whether you've never preached a sermon or you've been preaching for a while and want to grow, this cohort will meet you where you are and take you further. From exegesis to delivery, we'll build it together.
What to Expect
Over eight Saturdays, you'll move through a structured curriculum that covers the full journey of preaching — from how to study and interpret the text to how to build a sermon that lands to how to deliver it in a way that is both authentic and effective. You won't just learn about preaching. You'll actually preach. This is your space to communicate God's Word with power and purpose.
Each session includes live teaching, group interaction, and real-time feedback in a supportive community environment. Refreshments are provided, and every week is designed to build on the last.
